Rya Questline: How to complete Rya's Quest This closes some possible endings of the questline, but it can still be completed. If you complete all three of the manor's assassination contracts before gaining the Tonic of Forgetfulness, it will be impossible to acquire the Tonic. If you kill Rykard before speaking to Rya in her room inside the dungeon, she will disappear from the manor and her quest will become impossible to complete.ģ. (However, you can enter the Manor and touch the grace in the room where Tanith and her knight protector reside without losing access to Blackguard Big Boggart's questline as long as you do not speak to Tanith or anyone else in the Manor.)Ģ. This will also render you unable to purchase Boiled Prawn and Boiled Crab. If you join the Volcano Manor without speaking to Rya at Liurnia of the Lakes, you will lose access to Blackguard Big Boggart and his questline for the rest of that playthrough, as he will refuse to speak with you if you haven't spoken with Rya in the swamp about retrieving a necklace from someone who stole it. She cannot be harmed until she moves into the Volcano Manor dungeonġ.Rya acts as a scout for the Volcano Manor, and is the adopted daughter of Tanith. He will join you, so be sure you have a space free for him before you click on the cage. You won't see him until you click on the cage then his dialogue screen will appear. Turn right and enter the main temple chamber.Įmmanuel is in the cage hung up in the back of this chamber. Take it until it tees into another hallway. There is another exit to the room on the same wall you came in.
Go back down the elevator and take the corridor to where it ends in a room. You are back at the entrance, but have now opened a way to get back in without passing the dragon. Press the switch to go up a level and follow the corridor around until you get to the end. The dragon doesn't fit into the door, so you will be safe from it when you get there.Īt the end of the secret door corridor, turn left and get on the elevator. The switch to open this door is in the northwest corner of the dragon's room (and the door is in the northeast corner). The dragon's room has a secret door covering a back exit (and the only way into the part of the temple you need to visit). It also contains a gold dragon however if you are not prepared to fight a dragon, you can avoid it with judicious use of turn-based mode and running. This room is just past the first refuge room. Your target is the only room to the left of the corridor, and it will be a drop to the floor below, so cast Feather Fall before you get there. There are three rooms to the right off the corridor that you can take refuge in if you time it right, so take a moment to absorb how long it take between bursts. Some sort of spell is set at this end of the corridor (possibly a Cold spell), to scour out the length of the corridor. In front of you will be another corridor going off to the left. If you are worried about your reputation going down, it is probably best to target your attacks with the mouse cursor, since hitting the "A" key will just attack the closest thing, whether or not it is an enemy.Įnter, and follow the path the only way you can go until you have passed through a room. Note that there are peasants inside the temple that will not talk to you, but they will get in your way when you fight. Emmanuel can be found in the Temple of the Snake, which is on an island in the middle of Star Lake. Joanne Cravitz can be found in her home in south Blackshire. She asks the party to find him and bring him back. Joanne Cravitz is worried about her husband, who went on an excursion to an island to the east that is rumored to be overrun by medusas. Rescue Emmanuel from the Temple of the Snake is a side quest in Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven.
